Prada Group to open official e-store in Russia by 2018

MOSCOW, Apr 13 (PRIME) -- Italian luxury fashion giant Prada Group will open an Internet store in Russia until the end of 2017, according to the company’s presentation seen by PRIME late on Wednesday.

The Prada Group said in its 2016 statement that “continued outperformance in Russia generated double-digit growth over the year.”

The company’s first stage of unrolling its e-commerce platform until the end of the current year also covers Australia, China, New Zealand and South Korea, while other countries will be covered in 2018.

The Prada Group is one of the world’s leaders in the high-street goods sector where it operates with the Prada, Miu Miu, Church’s and Car Shoe brands in the production and distribution of luxury handbags, leather goods, footwear, apparel and accessories, according to its Web site.
